Brixmor Property (BRX) came out with quarterly funds from operations (FFO) of $0.51 per share, in line with the Zacks Consensus Estimate. This compares to FFO of $0.49 per share a year ago.
Brixmor Property Group is an appealing pick for income investors seeking exposure to quality real estate with growing fundamentals. BRX owns 364 retail centers, with 74% of its properties being grocery-anchored, making them less susceptible to economic and e-commerce disruptions. BRX has demonstrated strong portfolio fundamentals, with high occupancy rates, rent growth, and a strong balance sheet.
