Americold's Strong Growth Potential Still Needs To Be Proven
ATLANTA, GA., Jan. 16, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Americold Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: COLD) (the “Company”), a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, real estate, and value-added services focused on the ownership, operation, acquisition and development of temperature-controlled warehouses, today announced that the Company will release fourth quarter 2023 financial results after the market closes on Thursday, February 22, 2024. A conference call will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Americold Realty Trust, Inc. operates as a REIT that owns and leases temperature-controlled warehousing and provides transportation services. The company's financial performance has been mixed, with a decline in revenue and bottom line results due to multiple factors as of late. Despite its position as a major player in the temperature-controlled warehouse market, shares of Americold Realty Trust are expensive and not an attractive investment opportunity.
Americold is in the business of providing temperature-controlled storage and value-added services. Though the prospects look good, and no significant headwinds appear to be present, the REIT is currently fairly valued. Due to the lack of a margin of safety and the relatively low dividend yield, investors may want to be patient with buying the stock.

In this article, I will highlight five up-and-coming SWANs, what I refer to as SWAN-a-Bees.
After the brutal sell-off of the last two years, REITs are poised for a surge. However, this upswing will not benefit all REITs equally. Cautious investors can now get about 5% with little or no risk, so why invest in a security yielding less than 5%, particularly if it has significant downside risk?
