British software company IQGeo Group PLC (AIM:IQG) has recevied a £333 million cash offer from private equity firm KKR. At 480p per share, the offer represents a 19% premium to Monday's closing price and a 38% premium to the six-month trading average.

SYDNEY — Perpetual has agreed to sell its corporate trust and wealth management businesses to buyout firm KKR in a deal worth more around 2.18 billion Australian dollars (US$1.44 billion).

Perpetual said on Wednesday that buyout giant KKR & Co would acquire its wealth management and corporate trust businesses for A$2.18 billion ($1.43 billion), sending the Australian financial services firm's shares to a five-month low.

Perpetual will become a stand-alone, global multi-boutique asset management business with the sale of the separated corporate trust and wealth management divisions.

Australia's Perpetual will be broken up, with its name sold to global investment firm KKR & Co , in a deal worth over A$1.5 billion ($990 million), the Australian Financial Review reported on Tuesday.

Global investment firm KKR will buy Indian medical devices maker Healthium Medtech from UK-based Apax Partners in a deal that three sources with direct knowledge of the matter say is valued at 70 billion rupees ($838.60 million).

KKR Real Estate Finance Trust's book value dipped by $0.34 sequentially in the first quarter of 2024. The mREIT generated distributable earnings of $0.39 per share and declared a $0.25 per share cash dividend for 156% coverage. There were two risk rating downgrades during the quarter, with the mREIT's 3.2 weighted average risk rating remaining unchanged sequentially.

KKR CFO Rob Lewin discusses the company's first-quarter earnings, fundraising and the inflationary environment with Sonali Basak on Bloomberg Television. KKR's adjusted net income rose 20% to $863.7 million, or 97 cents a share, the company said Wednesday in a statement.

PG&E said on Tuesday it had entered into exclusive negotiations to sell a minority interest in Pacific Generation to KKR & Co's unit, as the utility firm seeks funding to improve its energy grid.
