(NYSE: MHK) today announced second quarter 2024 net earnings of $157 million and earnings per share (“EPS”) of $2.46; adjusted net earnings were $192 million, and adjusted EPS was $3.00. Net sales for the second quarter of 2024 were $2.8 billion, a decrease of 5.1% as reported and 4.5% on an adjusted basis versus the prior year. During the second quarter of 2023, the Company reported net sales of $3.0 billion, net earnings of $101 million and EPS of $1.58; adjusted net earnings were $176 million, and adjusted EPS was $2.76.
