Polaris Inc. PII, +1.88% said Tuesday its third-quarter net income rose to $186.3 million, or $3.10 a share, from $114.6 million, or $1.84 a share, in the year-ago quarter. Adjusted earnings were $3.25 a share in the latest quarter.
Polaris ended 2021 in strength, but results since then have been very much mixed. This has created a lot of pessimism amongst investors, sending shares down materially over the past year or so.
